Elizabeth, of Garden Designs by Elizabeth, raised two children and went to college at the age of 40 to
pursue her desire for a career in landscape design. She graduated with honors from County College of Morris in 1993
and then attended Rutgers where she completed Basic Landscape Design for a Certificate of Completion.
In 2006 she was awarded the Silver Award from APLD ( Association of Professional Landscape Designers) and
she passed her CNLP ( NJ Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional ) test. CNLP # 555.
Elizabeth is North Jersey Chapter Chairperson for NJNLA for 2010 and sits on the County College of Morris Horticultural
Advisory Committee.
Elizabeth received her
ICPI certification in 2008 ( Interlocking Concrete Pavers Institute ).
Her passion
for her chosen field leads her to continue her education whenever she can. She has been to the UK to study with Penelope
Hobhouse and attends seminars and classes often.
